Made within the body of a hard back book my "Altered Journals" become beautiful objects within themselves.
The beauty of the altered Journal is that each one always turns out completely unique.
The Journey of creating an altered journal can be as simple or as complex as one likes or feels.... Once you have created your pages and decorated the front of your journal, you have a perfect back drop to house your own memories, events, drawings, notes or family recipes collections
I have designed and put together this simple kit to inspire you and to help you to create your own Altered Journals or memory books inspired by the ones that I create
This kit includes a selection of specially designed and hand printed paper and cards to help you create your own book in my style and it also includes a vintage hard back book that I have found for you
Please note buttons and ribbons and vintage hard back books will vary in each pack, this is the beauty of this style of work...All the contence of each kit are hand sourced for you by myself when travelling to markets and other places of interest and during my visits to London markets, Welsh thrift stores or when visiting French and Swiss street Markets
Each pack comes with an A5 size instruction leaflet featuring 8 full color images with text to guide you on each step of the process
The Altered journal is perfect as an ongoing home craft project. It is also perfect as a gift either as the kit itself or once made up as a complete journal...My Journals are perfect for memorable family events such as wedding births and birthdays
Once complete its very fun filling your journal with memorable events from your daily life adventures
I hope you enjoy making your own "Journal" as much as I do...and ENJOY the adventure
